A platform for excellence, encounters, and artistic growth. The Vienna International String Seminar is a significant support project for young string players on their path to musical maturity. Building on the success of the first edition in 2022, the second edition features a strengthened organizational structure, outstanding teaching personalities, and an expanded artistic offering.

The aim of the seminar is to offer talented musicians aged 17 to 30 a high-quality platform for the further development of their solo and chamber music skills – embedded in the inspiring backdrop of the music city of Vienna.

The focus is on individual artistic development through master classes, chamber music coaching, and public performance opportunities. The program is complemented by interactive workshops with industry partners and a carefully designed supporting program that facilitates exchange, cultural inspiration, and personal encounters.

The seminar is organized by the Goldmark Musikverein Wien and is part of the long-term vision of positioning Vienna as an international educational and meeting place for highly qualified young musicians.
